1. Summertime Events
Looking for a lineup of fun, one-of-a-kind events? We've got you covered this summer. Check out the world's largest renewable energy and sustainable living fair - the MREA Energy Fair - or the adventurous Paddlequest event that is part paddling and part Comic-Con. Don't miss out on other events like Point Pride, the Iola Carshow, or Bluegrass in the Pines.
2. The Water Scene
Relax on the boat cruising the Wisconsin River, tube down the Plover River, swim through the crystal clear Sunset Lake, or paddle the winding Tomorrow River. Whatever your go-to on the water is, the possibilities in the Stevens Point Area are endless.

3. Refreshing Drinks
Take a break from the summer heat and cool off with a refreshing drink from the Central Wisconsin Craft Collective. Many breweries have great outdoor spaces to enjoy your drinks, such as the Point Brewery's Point Patio which is equipped with fun outdoor games.
4. Vibrant Public Art
While public art is always on display, it shines brighter in the summer sun. View a mix of old school historical and recent Paint the County initiative murals scattered in every corner of the county. While each one makes for the perfect Instagram backdrop, each holds its own special meaning.
5. Al-Fresco Eats
You can't beat dining outside in the summertime. Pull up the boat and dine on the water at Bahamas Lounge or Tiki Beach Bar & Grill. Sit out on the patio at PJ's Restaurant enjoying their spacious, cozy ambiance. Surround yourself with outdoor lights at Father Fats. Or don't miss the live music on the patio at Guu's on Main.

6. 4th of July Festivities
Enjoy a community celebration like no other with Riverfront Rendezvous. The celebration spans three days and is full of fun events and fantastic live music. Cap the entire weekend off with a fireworks show on the last night of the event.

7. Farmers' Market Finds
Beginning on the first weekend in May and going through October, the farmers' market is located on the square in downtown Stevens Point. Don't miss out on locally grown produce, fresh flowers, and other unique items by browsing through all the different vendors on a daily basis (with Saturdays being the biggest day).
Read our guide on how to shop the market to get the most out of your visit to the market.
8. Local Camping
For a retreat close to nature, get out and experience some of the area's best campgrounds. County and state campgrounds have great amenities, secluded sites, and many times direct water access. Private campgrounds offer additional amenities - some including on-site restaurants, horseback riding, and cabins.
9. All the Live Music
You'll find no shortage of amazing live music in the Stevens Point Area during the summer. Wednesday nights are packed with music with Notes at Night on the square, the City Band at Pfiffner Park, and varying artists at PJ's live every week. Thursdays, Levitt AMP will be at Pfiffner Park bringing you different artists each week too!
Want more live music? Check out local breweries and bars for other live music on our calendar of events.
10. The Green Circle Trail
Last, but very not least, is the 27-mile Green Circle Trail. An iconic spot in the area, you can choose to hike, bike, or jog. With varying terrain and scenery from beautiful boardwalks to waterfront views, you'll find yourself wanting to come back time and time again.
