The Stevens Point Area Convention & Visitors Bureau has developed a program called Partners In Tourism. This program is designed to form partnerships between the CVB and area businesses in order to effectively promote the Stevens Point Area. The Partners In Tourism program gives area businesses an opportunity to play an active role in the growth of the Stevens Point Area's travel and hospitality industry.
Tourism is an important industry in the area that brings thousands of vacationers, convention attendees, sporting event participants and motor coach travelers to Portage County each year. These visitors contributed millions of dollars each year at area lodging establishments, restaurants, attractions, shops and other businesses throughout Portage County.
The Partners In Tourism program gives area businesses an opportunity to play an active role in the growth of the Stevens Point Area's travel and hospitality industry.
