Local Flavor in the Stevens Point Area

Local flavor and farm to fork is not a passing fad in the Stevens Point Area. Wisconsin's oldest farmers market is still held in the same spot in downtown Stevens Point, and the 160-year old Stevens Point Brewery is still a staple here along with the other breweries, wineries, and distillery that make up the Central Wisconsin Craft Collective. A booming local food scene accentuates the craft beverage scene, classic Wisconsin supper clubs and everything in between.

Top spots worth a visit (and a tour) in the Stevens Point Area:

  • Visit one of the nation’s oldest breweries, the Stevens Point Brewery, complete with a tour and a taste.

  • Grab a sustainable barrel-aged brew from Central Waters, then check out 1,000 square feet of solar panels.

  • Taste local potatoes in award-winning vodka (and amazing cocktails) at Great Northern Distilling's mixology bar.

  • While O’so Brewing Company may be known for their sours, don't skip the IPA and porters on tap.

  • Come hungry to McZ's Brew Pub, known for their beer and pizza that pair perfectly.

  • Grab a spot in the hammock swing, in the tasting room with a glass of wine at Sunset Point Winery.
