Their menu features a wide variety from classic crepes to a smoked whitefish bagel. Pair your meal with a delicious drink, like the classic Mimosa or Bloody Mary, or mix it up and try something different like the Maple Coffee Old Fashioned or the Black Cherry Mimosa.

The Wooden Chair

Filled with antiques and history as rich as the food, you’ll find this local favorite in downtown Stevens Point. Serving only breakfast and lunch, you’ll find a wide variety on the menu from their Corned Beef Omelette to the Rocker - a freshly made grilled turkey sandwich with an avocado spread. Once inside, you’ll see right away where the name comes from, with every table surrounded by unique wooden chairs.

 
Must-try: Want to try a popular pick? Order the Brotomushepperasheese (“Broto”), a specialty omelet filled with broccoli, tomatoes, mushrooms, and green peppers topped with a cheese sauce- served over hash browns or toast.

Father Fats

With menu options changing weekly, Father Fats is sure to keep you coming back! Better yet, all items on the menu are served small-plate style and are meant to be shared, so you can try as many items as you'd like. Keep an eye on Father Fat's Facebook Page for their menu and availability.  

 
Must-try: The choices are limitless with such a diverse selection which makes it impossible to decide. We recommend the Buttermilk-Fried Chicken and Waffles, Caramel and Apple French Toast, or Homemade Beignets- if you can find them!

Lonely Oak Farms

Get your farm-to-table fix and brunch at the same time. Head straight to the source for brunch on the farm at Lonely Oak Farms, held on Sundays from 10 am-2 pm during the growing season. After your delicious meal, be sure to wear your hiking boots and explore the expansive Mead Wildlife Area - their neighbor! 

 
Must-try: An ever-changing menu makes it hard to nail down just one item to try since they serve up tasty goods based on what is in season. If you're lucky snag some homemade donuts, the cheddar bacon quiche, or the waffle poutine.

Ruby Cafe

While Ruby Cafe is known for its flavorful & colorful coffee, including its popular maple latte, they also serve a wide variety of brunch staples from crepes to quiche. Grab some tasty brunch items to go, to ramp up your weekend with extra flavor. 

 
Must-try:  It's a tie between the Nutella-Banana Crepes and the Crepes Benedict. Pick a side, sweet or savory - and either way you won't be disappointed.

Main Grain Bakery & Eatery serves up both sweet treats and homemade sandwiches, perfect for brunch. Keep up with their social channels to also see when they're serving special drinks from grapefruit mimosas to mocktails featuring Siren Shrubs. 

 
Must-try:  Get a little bit of everything with their MGB Lunchbox Special. The box features a specialty hand pie or sandwich, a dessert, and a few other yummy sides.
