FAT TIRE BIKING IN THE STEVENS POINT AREA
Gain a little more speed this winter with fat tire biking in the Stevens Point Area. From groomed trails at Standing Rocks Park to ungroomed trails along the Green Circle Trail, you can be sure to stay active and get outdoors this winter.
Green Circle Trail
While the Green Circle Trail does not have any groomed fat tire biking trails, there are plenty of miles to get out and ride on. With gorgeous waterfront views and tranquil wooded paths, you can't go wrong on this trail.
Note: In the winter, fat tire biking is not allowed on the Plover River Segment.
Explore the 5 miles worth of ungroomed trails this winter in the 280-acre Schmeeckle Reserve. Take a loop around Lake Joanis or meander along various boardwalks. The reserve is open year-round and makes for breathtaking views.
Standing Rocks County Park
Looking for groomed fat tire biking trails? Standing Rocks has got you covered. Check out the beautiful Behnke Olson Outdoor Recreation Center (BOORC), open weekdays from 11am to 4:30pm, and on the weekends from 8:30am to 4:30pm when conditions exist.
