This 27-mile trail loops through the region along the Wisconsin River, Plover River, and through a diverse mix of habitats. Want to know what makes it even better? The trail connects to more than 30 miles of additional trail to explore, including the 280-acre Schmeeckle Reserve, the Stevens Point Sculpture Park which mixes sculptures along a recreation trail, and the Tomorrow River State Trail, a 28-mile crushed limestone trail stretching from Plover to Manawa.

• Get into nature and on the trails at the Schmeeckle Reserve. This 280-acre nature preserve (tucked on the UW-Stevens Point campus), offers more than 5 miles of trails to explore. Scope out the boardwalk trails, and the popular Lake Loop. The reserve also serves as the trailhead for the Green Circle Trail (complete with year-round restrooms and overflow parking). 
   
• If you love to bike all year long, you don't want to miss Standing Rocks Park. Featuring over 13 miles of mountain bike trails, with a combination of old-school narrow legacy trails with newer (and wider) flow trails - it promises a fun ride for beginners to experts. In the winter, fat tire bike trails are groomed (when conditions exist).

• Cover some ground with the popular Green Circle Trail.
