Arts & Culture

Meet the artists behind the work, and get an inside peek at the working artist studios of the region at the Hidden Studios Art Tour each fall. Or, throughout the year, plan to attend art gallery opening receptions for exhibitions.

Like live music? Mark your calendar for these popular music festivals including the Riverfront Jazz Festival and Bluegrass in the Pines. If you are looking for more music, it can be found throughout the year at small more intimate venues, like Amber Grill, Guu’s, PJ’s, or Elbow Room, as well as at medium to large venues, like the Rising Star Mill, Jensen Center, Sentry Theater, or Michelsen Hall. (In the summer, don’t miss the outdoor music events at the Pfiffner Park Bandshell.)

Grab a ticket and a seat at the Sentry Theater, Jensen Community Center, or the Jenkins Theater with performances presented by local organizations like cwACT, the Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra and the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point Department of Theater & Dance.
