Family Fun

Find family fun in the Stevens Point Area, with suggestions for indoor and outdoor adventures all-year long, including museums, attractions, trails, parks and more.

For the whole family

Head to the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point campus. Explore the natural world at the Museum of Natural History and find out more about the galaxies we call home at the Allen F. Blocher Planetarium and the Arthur J. Pejsa Observatory. Then, learn more about the Wisconsin’s conservation legacy at the Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame (at the Schmeeckle Reserve). The Schmeeckle Reserve offers free hands-on nature and history programs, geared to a wide audience, from September to May. The programs, which feature informative talks, guided rides and hikes, are run by University of Wisconsin Stevens Point College of Natural Resources students. Regardless of the weather, don't miss the chance to play 18 holes of mini-golf at Putt-N-Play.

For the 10 and over crowd

Crack some geodes at the Blue Bead Trading Company, then hit the trail (like the 27-mile Green Circle Trail or the popular Sculpture Park).

For the 10 and under crowd

You don’t want to miss the Central Wisconsin Children’s Museum and K.A.S.H. Playground, both are great places to play and explore.
