The U.S. Girls' Junior Championship will be in Wisconsin for the first time at SentryWorld Golf Course. The 71st annual event welcomes 156 of the best female amateur golfers, under the age of 19, in the world. The event is free to attend and open to spectators, who are welcome on the course for the tournament play. Between match play on and off the course, you don't want to miss the best things to see and do in the Stevens Point Area.

Take a tour of one of the oldest breweries in the United States, Point Brewery, complete with a sample of soda, cider or beer at the end. Then, explore more of the local craft beverage makers in the Stevens Point Area known as the Central Wisconsin Craft Collective.

For local food, go straight to the source. Make a stop at Feltz Dairy Store, where after a scoop and some curds, you can also tour the robotic milking operation. To make it a meal, hit local favorites that work with local growers for farm to fork cuisine, including Father Fats, Muse, Emy J's, or PJ's Restaurant.
Go for a traditional Wisconsin Supper Club experience, with a stop at the Sky Club, Michele's or Two Lakes.

Getting to and around the Stevens Point Area is simple. Attractions and points of interest are easy to get to by car, with maps available here (as well as at the Visitors Center). If you'd prefer to explore the region via public transportation, you'll find Stevens Point Transit (known as the City Bus) includes most of the urban area, with the main hub located in Downtown Stevens Point. For more options, download the Lyft app and request a car, order a taxi through Courtesy Cab or set up transportation in advance with Xecutive Limousine.

Spectators are encouraged and welcome to attend FREE of charge any and every day of the championship! Practice Rounds will be on Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21, Stroke Play rounds on Monday, July 22 and Tuesday, July 23, and Match Play rounds Wednesday, July 24-Saturday, July 27.
There will be bleachers set up at the practice areas for spectators to use. On the course, spectators are welcome to bring chairs to sit in if viewing from a specific hole is preferred or spectators are encouraged to walk the course.
There is no charge for parking. Spectator parking will be in the SentryWorld parking lot with overflow parking along North and South Michigan Avenue as well as North Point Drive with shuttle pick up and drop off from the SentryWorld Maintenance Building on North Point Drive.
Food and beverage be available for purchase will be sold at the ninth hole. PJ's will remain open during the Championship.
No specific dress code, although golf attire is encouraged. It is asked that you silence your phones while viewing play.
Tee times will be published on usga.org approximately one week before the championship. Participants in the U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship are exempt due to their playing record, or have to qualify through one of the sectional qualifiers held throughout the country. Sectional qualifying is taking place right now through the first part of July. Over 1,300 girls will participate in sectional qualifying in an attempt to be one of the top 156 that make it to SentryWorld.
