Matero's Pub and Pizza

This popular stop, Matero's, located just east of Stevens Point and not far from Jordan Park, is known for its unique pizzas. Start with the Italian Beef Pizza, or Kraut, or stick to a well-known favorite.

Polito's Pizza

Here, you'll find a traditional New York-style slice, with lots of creative toppings combinations. Polito's is known as the home of the big slice for good reason. Pick a single slice, or order a full pie to take home. Of course, if you're like us, you'll be sure to grab a side of garlic knots, too.

McZ's Brew Pub

This stop is known for their craft beer, but McZ's pizza is just the icing on top! Here you can choose from a variety of pizzas made on homemade beer dough, with a slightly thicker crust. We highly recommend the greek and taco pizza.

Tucked in downtown Amherst, you'll find this casual spot. Ambrosia's lets you decide on thin or self-rising crust choose from a variety of specialty options or build-your-own. If you can't decide, check out their weekly pizza buffet on Wednesdays.

Two Lakes Supper Club

If you can get it in season, check out the Shrimp Pizza, a staple at the popular Two Lakes Supper Club. Add it to your list, when they open for the season - typically April-October.

Grazies Italian Grill

Sometimes the best pizza has a twist. At Grazies check out the Midwest Stromboli, rolled with the toppings and served with the sauce on the side.

Feltz Family Farms & Dairy Store

Think great pizza has to come from a restaurant? Don't overlook Feltz Family Farms and Dairy Store. Here you'll find plenty of delicious take-and-bake pizzas ready to go, from the Brat & Cheese Curd Pizza to more traditional flavor combinations.

This spot, known for pizza, wings, and macaroni and cheese, in the Stevens Point Area is definitely worth adding to the list. Don't skip the Wis-Cow Tater Tot Bacon Mac & Cheese Pizza to enjoy dining in or at home. Looking for more? Try the thick-crust Wisconsin pizza fries.

Looking for pizza with a local flair? Check out Liberation Farmers. During the growing season, head to one of their pizza nights, complete with an outdoor pizza oven and fresh ingredients. Brian & Wendy's Hiawatha

This spot tucked in Junction City is known for their monster bloody mary's, tasty local beef burgers and, of course, their pizza. With lots of options to choose from, you don't want to miss their take on Shrimp pizza, in either scampi or traditional at Brian and Wendy's Hiawatha.

Found out in the quaint countryside of Amherst Junction, just northeast of Lake Emily is Bootleggers- they provide an extra cheesy pizza on a thin crust that serves as a perfect reminder of Wisconsin's love for cheese. They are also locally famous for their delicious gluten-free pizza.

O'so Brewing Company

Is there any combination better than pizza and beer? Head straight to the source with a stop at this popular brewery, O'so Brewing, and order up from their in-house kitchen, known as O'so Amore. Not sure what to order? Go spicy with the delicious Hot Hillbilly pizza paired with an O'so beer.

Don't miss the pizza at Backwoods Bar & Grill, where they serve 7 different options from Chicken and Bacon to a Loaded Garden Pizza. Plus, they leave you the option to build your own if you'd rather customize the pie yourself. The restaurant is located close to the Green Circle Trail so you can enjoy the wooded view from their patio with your delicious pizza.

Rookies Sports Pub

Although it is primarily known for having 60 beers on draft, Rookies also makes a mean thin-crust pizza. They have some creative flavors you may not find anywhere else, such as a Taco Pizza and a Crab Rangoon Pizza. It is the perfect place to watch your favorite sports game while also enjoying pizza and a beer!

Sliced Pizza Co.

A popular pizza joint located on Scandinavia's Main Street- Sliced Pizza Co. has delicious homemade-style pizzas. They source as many ingredients as they can locally and make every pizza from scratch to keep them tasting incredibly fresh. Although you can't go wrong with any of their pizzas, The Wisco-zza is a pizza true to the Midwest. Its toppings include Central Waters Beer Brats, red onion, and Ellsworth Cooperative Cheese curds.
