Green Circle Trail: Southern Segments

While the southern segments of the Green Circle Trail may only span a handful of miles, portions along those segments act as connection points to other trails that offer plenty of additional miles ready for you to explore.

Whiting Crossing Trail Segment

Winding through the scenic Mainland Meadows and local parks, you can find tranquility along the Whiting Crossing Trail. Make a stop at Lower Whiting Park where you'll find playground equipment, water access perfect for fishing, a picnic shelter, and more.

Paper Mill Trail Segment

For outstanding birding opportunities, meander along the Paper Mill Trail. Find a variety of species from congregating Mallards in the winter to Ovenbirds in the spring.

Following a former Canadian National railway spur, the Schrader Connection interjects the middle of the Paper Mill Trail and connects with the middle of the River Pines Trail.
