The Central Wisconsin Children's Museum has a bunch of fun for the kiddos! From the Create-It! Art Room to Down on the Farm and Healthy Heroes there are lots of fun exhibits to explore and play.
3. ALLEN F. BLOCHER PLANETARIUM
Find great family fun with the Allen F. Blocher Planetarium and their summer planetarium shows. The family-friendly shows are free and open to the public with their summer series beginning end of May.
4. TROPICAL CONSERVATORY
Get a taste of the outdoors inside at the tropical conservatory in the Chemistry Biology building on UWSP's campus. Featuring over 400 different species of plants, the conservatory is a unique spot that is open to the public during building hours.
5. BLUE BEAD & ROCK SHOP
Find all kinds of cool goodies at Blue Bead & Rock Shop. They offer crystals, stones, beads, one-of-a-kind jewelry, and more! Find a unique piece to commemorate your trip, whether a fun bracelet or a one-of-a-kind stone. Make sure to grab one of their 'dig for crystal' bags to siphon through the sand for treasure!
6. GEPETTO'S WORKSHOP
Looking for the perfect toy? Gepetto's is the place to look as they offer a mix of old-school classic toys and unique, new pieces. You'll be hooked once you get there as their front windows are always decorated and stocked full of toys for the season.
7. WISCONSIN CONSERVATION HALL OF FAME
Explore Wisconsin’s environmental history and the people who made the state a leader in conservation and the environmental movement at the Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame. Located in the Schmeeckle Reserve Visitor Center, it is free and open to the public during regular hours.
8. Food + Farm Exploration Center
Weather not working out in your favor? Take it inside and spend time at the Food + Farm Exploration Center. There are hands-on activities for kids of all ages from play-style kitchens and grocery stores to life-size farm equipment simulators. Plus, on-site is the World's Largest Potato Masher- a fun photo opportunity.

With many options here in the Stevens Point Area, you will surely be able to find open bowl almost every day! Check out Skipp’s Bowling Center or Whitetail Lanes, and get ready to show everyone how you roll.

Top10. IVERSON PARK
Equipped with a swimming beach, playground, restrooms, picnic shelters, and a baseball diamond, Iverson Park is a perfect summer spot. Cool off in the shallow Plover River that runs through the park or have some fun on the swing sets scattered around the park.
11. SCHMEECKLE RESERVE
Get a breath of fresh air this summer by taking a walk through the 280-acre Schmeeckle Reserve. Head over to Lake Joanis on the reserve where you can enjoy fishing, canoeing, or kayaking. The reserve has rentals available, find information at the visitor center.

12. SCULPTURE PARK
Combine nature and art with a short walk through the Sculpture Park. The half-mile trail that winds through the wooded area allows for a fun walk with art pieces sure to catch the kiddo's attention at every turn. Make it a day trip and stop at Putt-n-Play that's right down the road!

13. K.A.S.H. PLAYGROUND
Located right along the Wisconsin River, find the universally accessible K.A.S.H Playground. The playground is on a soft rubber surface and includes slides and climbing equipment suitable and safe for all ages and abilities. Find lighted tennis courts and volleyball courts at the park as well.

14. DONALD COPP'S MUNICIPAL POOL
Make a splash this summer at Donald Copp's Municipal Pool in their temperature-controlled pool. There are three pools including a waterslide and a zero-depth wading pool that's perfect for children.
15. FARMERS' MARKET SPLASH PAD
Grab some local goodies while letting the kids cool off downtown at the farmers' market. With vendors surrounding the square, in the center, you'll find a small splash pad perfect for kids to run through!

16. FELTZ'S DAIRY STORE
Summer fun isn't complete without a stop at Feltz's Dairy Store. Don't miss the cow-themed-merry-go-round inside, their life-size milking cow, and the small petting zoo. New this year is a large play area called the Fun Farm featuring a tire playground, a jumping pillow, rubber duck races, and more. -Oh and you can't leave without getting fresh curds or a scoop of King Cone ice cream.
17. GREEN CIRCLE TRAIL
Grab a bike or opt to hike along the 27-mile Green Circle Trail this summer. Let the kids get their energy out on the River Pines segment where you can make a detour for a sweet treat at Belt's or Carl D's just a few blocks off the trail.

18. LIVE MUSIC EVENTS
Find live music every week during the summer in the Stevens Point Area. Head to Pfiffner Park on Thursdays for Levitt AMP. and PJ's on Wednesdays for music and dinner. Or head downtown to the square in Stevens Point on Wednesdays for Notes at Night.
19. SUNSET LAKE
Cool off this summer with the whole family at Sunset Lake. The 63-acre lake is incredibly clear and clean, which helps to make it a summertime favorite.
