Held each year in June, the event is fun for the whole family, featuring workshops, exhibits, demonstrations, and live entertainment.
1. What & When Is It?
The Midwest Renewable Energy Association's Annual Energy Fair features all things sustainable. From exhibitors, workshops, Energy Professional CECs, live music, inspiring keynotes, and more, it's no wonder the event is one of the longest-running of its kind. This year, The Energy Fair will be held on June 22nd with loads of fun throughout the day.
2. Get in on the Activities
Immerse yourself in fun activities throughout the day at The Energy Fair. Listen to live music, explore educational workshops, grab a hands-on demo, or get your body moving with the Rise Up & Race 5K. But don't forget to take a break in the shade from the warm summer sun! New this year, the MREA has an app where you can get the most up-to-date information on workshops and events happening throughout the day!
3. Don't Worry About Parking
If you're coming from Milwaukee or Madison, don't worry about making the drive. There will be buses departing the morning of the fair for your convenience (view their hours and locations for exact details). Or grab a carpool buddy to and from The Energy Fair. Plus, parking is free.
4. Where to Stay
Looking for the best places to stay while attending the Energy Fair? There are various options for attendees from out of town. One is staying right on-site at the MREA's Campground. If you in search of a little more comfort, view the Stevens Point Area's best hotels and bed & breakfasts.

6. Fair Food - But With a Twist
The food at The Energy Fair is anything but your typical fair food. At the fair, you'll find local, seasonal, and organic items to select from - including solar brewed beer and Wisconsin-made ice cream!
