Agritourism plays a huge role in what makes Wisconsin a unique (and delicious!) destination. Throughout the Stevens Point Area, you'll find places where you can taste, learn, and see for yourself why this industry is noteworthy in central Wisconsin. From farm-to-table, brunch on the farm, and behind-the-scenes tours - you'll want to plan a visit to explore these tasty spots for yourself!
Feltz Family Farm & Dairy Store
See a state-of-the-art robotic dairy operation in action, at Feltz Family Farms & Dairy Store. Get behind the scenes with a tour, or through their large viewing window in-store. Have kids with you? Don’t miss the new addition of the Fun Farm, complete with a life-size milking cow, a jumping pillow, a small petting zoo, and more. In the fall, they host three corn mazes (0.5 miles, 1.8 miles, and 3.0 miles) and of course, no stop is complete without fresh curds (made from their cow’s milk) and a scoop of Feltz Cow Pie ice cream.
Adelante Farm Market Kitchen
Get your farm-to-table fix at Adelante, a local food marketplace that is a part coffee roastery and part community gathering space through Liberation Farmers. Adelante offers up special events, including wood-fired pizza and tacos on Thursday nights from 4-7 pm, July through October. And the rest of the year they can be frequently found at the Stevens Point Area Winter Farmers Market. Make sure to check out their Facebook page for updates regarding their special events.
Lonely Oaks Farm
For more local finds, head straight to the source for brunch on the farm at Lonely Oak Farms. The farm offers brunch every Sunday, from Mother’s Day through Halloween. The best part? After brunch, head out and explore the expansive 33,000 acres at the state’s largest Wildlife Area – the George W. Mead – which neighbors Lonely Oak Farms.
