Mikey's

Start off your weekend right and sink your teeth into the specials Mikey's serves up exclusively for brunch. While they serve the classics like french toast, crepes, avocado toast - and a kid's menu - you'll find a few surprises, too. Pair your meal with a delicious drink like the classic Mimosa or Bloody Mary, or mix it up and try something different like the Blueberry Pancake Old Fashioned or the Black Cherry Mimosa.

The Wooden Chair

Filled with antiques and history as rich as the food, you’ll find this local favorite in Downtown Stevens Point. Serving only breakfast and lunch, you’ll find a wide variety on the menu from their Corned Beef Omelette to the Rocker - a freshly made grilled turkey sandwich with an avocado spread, and the delicious Pecan Smoked Bacon. Once inside, you’ll see right away where the name comes from, with every table surrounded by unique wooden chairs.

Must-try: Want to try a popular pick? Order the Brotomushepperasheese (“Broto”), a specialty omelette filled with broccoli, tomatoes, mushrooms, and green peppers topped with a cheese sauce- served over hash browns or toast.

Father Fats

 With menu options changing weekly, Father Fats is sure to keep you coming back! Better yet, all items on the menu are served small-plate style and are meant to be shared, so you can try as many items as you'd like. Keep an eye on Father Fat's Facebook Page for their menu and availability.  

Must-try: The choices are limitless with such a diverse selection it makes it impossible to decide. We recommend the Buttermilk-Fried Chicken and Waffles, Caramel and Apple French Toast, or Homemade Beignets- if you can find them!  

Honorable mention: You won't regret anything if you order the Hangover Burger. This reliable pick is topped w/ caramelized onions, cheddar, bacon & an over-easy egg, then finished w/ mayo, tomato & greens on a brioche bun.

Lonely Oak Farms

Get your farm-to-table fix and brunch at the same time. Head straight to the source for brunch on the farm at Lonely Oak Farms, held on Sundays from 10am-2pm during the growing season. After your delicious meal, be sure to wear your hiking boots and explore the expansive Mead Wildlife Area - their neighbor! 

Must-try: An ever-changing menu makes it hard to nail down just one item to try, since they serve up tasty goods based on what is in season. If you're lucky snag some homemade donuts, the cheddar bacon quiche, or the waffle poutine.

Ruby Cafe

While Ruby Cafe is known for their flavorful & colorful coffee, including their popular maple latte, they also serve a wide variety of brunch staples from crepes to quiche. Grab some tasty brunch items to go, to ramp up your weekend with extra flavor. 

Must-try:  It's a tie between the Nutella-Banana Crepes and the Crepes Benedict. Pick a side, sweet or savory - and either way you won't be disappointed.

R.D.'s Diner

The classic brunch staples are readily available at this local diner, known for their Friday fish fry and generous portions. Better yet, there is no need to wait until the weekend to enjoy. Grab a seat at the counter (or order for carryout) to enjoy the breakfast specials offered Tuesday-Sunday. 

Must-try:  Eggs Benny. A classic covered with hollandaise, served with a side of hash browns. Really hungry? Don't overlook the Country Fried Steak skillet - piled high on a bed of hash browns, topped with eggs. 

The Landmark

Located near the Tomorrow River, this coffeehouse is the perfect place to grab a bite to eat for brunch. Open 7 days a week, there is always time to try their brunch options or venture back for an evening visit. 

Must-try: For a healthy option, try the Veggie Pesto Burrito and the All Veggie Wrap - made with organic ingredients. Don't forget to order a fresh baked goodie - with your meal!
