If you are moving to Wisconsin from another state or country, you will need to obtain a Wisconsin’s driver license and Wisconsin tags for your vehicle from the Wisconsin DMV. There are a lot of parking options in the area, including free options. But be sure to note that during the winter when snow emergencies are in place, there are places where on-street parking is not acceptable for short timeframes.
