4. Pumpkin Patches & Orchards

Get into the spirit of fall by heading over to various farms to browse their pumpkin patches and/or orchards. Find the perfect pumpkin to carve or place around the house, grab some hand-picked apples for a pie, or take home a variety of farm-fresh goods from cider to honey to jams.

5. Take a Hike

From scenic trails to breathtaking lake views, break out the hiking boots and head out to explore the outdoors this fall in central Wisconsin. Take a trek on the River Pines Trail - which is one of the most scenic portions of the Green Circle Trail. Or find serenity along the New Hope - Iola Ski Hill segment of the Ice Age Trail.

6. Grab an Old Fashioned

A true classic, the old fashion is a drink that pairs perfectly with the fall season - and is well crafted at many locations in the area. A few places to mention are Mikey's in Plover and their impressive beer, wine, and spirits menu along with Father Fats and their carefully crafted cocktail menu. 

7. Brunch on the Farm

On Sundays until Halloween weekend, Lonely Oaks Farm offers brunch with all locally made and sustainably produced food. 8. Coffee Shops
