Love craft beer, wine or spirits? Then, you don't want to miss the Central Wisconsin Craft Collective, which links the local makers of craft beverages in the Stevens Point Area, including breweries, wineries and a distillery. Check out the places to tour, taste and sample as Zach and Jade head out for a two-day trip of the Craft Collective. Then, plan your own itinerary perfectly crafted to your tastes.

Day 1

Begin your trip in Amherst at Central Waters, a brewery leading the way in sustainability and barrel-aged beers. While you're there, check out their Tap Room and sip on your favorite, then join a free tour (if you're there on a Friday or Saturday). Then, head over to Plover for O'so Brewing Company. While O'so is known for their sour beers, you can try a variety of brews that they carry, ranging from IPAs to porters. Next, swing by Great Northern Distilling and end your day with handcrafted spirits and cocktails made from local ingredients (including potatoes grown less than 5 miles from the distillery). Grab a seat at the mixology bar for a handcrafted cocktail, or join a tour on Saturday afternoon for a chance to see the process (and the still) close up.

Day 2

Start off your second day of craft collective cruising at the Point Brewery, which is one of the oldest continuously operating breweries in the nation (brewing beer since 1857!). Tours are available six days a week at this local brewing icon. Be sure to call ahead for reservations - because only tour participants get access to the hospitality room for samples, including pilot and flagship beers, as well as Ciderboys Hard Cider and gourmet sodas. Then head to McZ's Brew Pub in Rosholt, a micro-brewery with delicious food, including pizza. McZ's prides itself on its local connections and serves as a hub for a variety of activities, including yoga, karaoke nights, and an art studio and gallery space that is connected to the brewery. Next, make your way to Sunset Point Winery in downtown Stevens Point. The cozy tasting room - complete with hammock swings - is the perfect place to unwind, where you can enjoy whites, reds, roses, and even wine-tails that combine flavors!
