What to Bring (And what you can rent)
Tee Up at a Championship Course
This 18-hole course was designed with every detail in mind. The stand-out feature at SentryWorld is the famous 'flower-hole', where over 50,000 flowers are planted on the green of the 16th hole, creating a one-of-a-kind backdrop. Designed to be both a challenging championship course and accessible for a range of players, it was originally crafted by Robert Trent Jones Jr. in the 1980s. He returned 3 decades later to elevate the design of the course. That work helped set the stage for SentryWorld to host the U.S. Senior Open in 2023.

What to Expect on the Course
You can expect a relaxed pace while playing the course, thanks to the 20-minute tee time intervals. To navigate the course, hop on one of SentryWorld's carts equipped with advanced GPS technologies, hole-by-hole fly over views, food and drink ordering capabilities, and the ability to contact the pro shop with the click of a button. For individuals facing mobility issues that hinder their ability to golf, try the SoloRider. These ADA-compliant vehicles allow golfers to stand, swivel, and navigate the course all with hand controls.
On-course beverages are included with the experience. Grab a beer, wine, seltzer, or even a cocktail made by the bartender. They also have plenty of NA options for enjoyment and hydration. You can also order hot meals, snacks, candy, or even grab a scoop of locally made ice cream while on the course.
What to Bring (And what you can rent)
Golf Clubs- You'll want some clubs to use, of course. If possible, bring them with you, but travelers from out of town can ship them to the course ahead of time. It is recommended to use Ship Sticks for this. Another option is to rent your clubs on-site, with top brands such as Callaway and TaylorMade available.
Shoes- You can wear golf shoes with soft spikes, but metal spikes are not allowed. Athletic shoes and shoes without a heel are also okay.
Dress Code- While on the course and in the practice areas, make sure to wear formal golf attire. Learn more about specific policies here.
Sunscreen- Make sure to bring sunscreen to protect yourself from the summer sun.

Book Your Tee Time
You can call or book online up to 90 days in advance with SentryWorld. The golfing season is from May 30th to October 1st, and the course can fill up quickly, so make sure to book ahead. Each booking includes a state-of-the-art golf cart, practice balls, on-course refreshments ranging from cocktails to sports drinks, and storage at the club.
Practice Before You Play
Want to warm up before you tee off? Sentryworld has many practice facilities available for just that. Start indoors with the golf simulator or indoor range (both open year-round) for getting loose no matter the weather. If you're ready to head outside, take advantage of the warm-up tee conveniently located near the first hole for some last-minute swings. For a more focused session, visit the practice tee featuring a range of targets and obstacles to dial in accuracy.
You can also challenge yourself on the Greenside or Fairway bunker to get comfortable with sand shots. And, don't forget the putting green, which mirrors current course conditions, or the chipping green to sharpen your short game before you head out.

Fuel Up Before or After Your Round
On SentryWorld grounds are two restaurants, a café, and a bar. PJ's is located just off the course, you can even sit outside to overlook the green. PJ's serves up Wisconsin classics like burgers, Friday fish fry, wood-fire pizza, and cheese curds. It also has a rotating seasonal entree menu currently featuring things like smoked duck or salmon.
Located in the lobby of The Inn at SentryWorld is The Library Café. There you will find delicious breakfast items like a create-your-own breakfast sandwich, a French toast bake, and a variety of coffee. In the evening, the café turns into a bar where you can sip on specialty cocktails like the Wisconsin Old Fashioned.
If you want a fine-dining experience, then make reservations for Muse at Sentry. This restaurant features both the culinary arts and prominent artwork decorating the space. They even have an authentic Pablo Picasso. You can find items like wagyu burgers and pesto mafaldine on the menu.
