Melvin R. Laird Room

The Laird room located in the upstairs of the Dreyfus University Center is the largest banquet and conference space on the UW-Stevens Point Campus. This space comes with dual projectors and a projector in the North end of the room. There is adjustable lighting and large stage capabilities. This space is also flexible and can be separated into five smaller sections.

 
Alumni Room

The DUC Alumni room is perfect for professional conferences or banquets. This room is equipped with a projector and screen as well as a small stage. With the large windows in this space, you'll feel the natural sunlight and get a great view of the Iris Fountain located behind the DUC. 

 

Legacy Room

For smaller and more intimate meetings, the DUC Legacy room is an excellent fit. This room comes with an in-room projected and screen as well as an A/V station in the room. Laptop hookups are also available. 

 

Encore Room

The DUC Encore room is a unique industrial style space. It is great for comedy acts, concerts, open mic nights, and other creative acts! This room comes with a built in stage, lighting, upstairs balcony, and a green room.

 

Dreyfus University Center Theater

The DUC doesn't just stop at performance spaces, they also provide a theater! The DUC Theater has a large projector and full audio-visual technology capabilities. With seating for up to 232 people, this location is great for visual and audio based meetings or events. 

 

Small Meeting Rooms

The Dreyfus University Center also has 7 smaller meeting rooms available upon request. Reach out to conference and event services at UWSP for more info!

Mid-State Technical College

LEAD Center

Located in Downtown Stevens Point, the LEAD Center at Mid-State is perfect for professional meetings and conferences. It seats up to 150 people and supports a variety of room configurations. There is integrated hybrid and videoconferencing technology. Think it can't get any better? There is an on-site coffee vendor as well!

 
Community Engagement Room

Available at both the Downtown Stevens Point and AMETA Center, Mid-State offers Community Engagement rooms for presentations or get-togethers. Rooms are typically suited for crowds of no more than 80. With A/V capabilities and options to hook up your own device, you will be set for your meeting.

 

Classrooms

Looking for a smaller meeting room? Mid-State has a variety of classroom options available as well. The rooms can hold anywhere from 26 to 125 people! We recommend calling and asking about A/V capabilities, as each room differs.
