1. Belts' Soft Serve 

This iconic Stevens Point ice cream spot is known for its large cone, but be aware that the large size is over three pounds of ice cream! Be sure to snap a pic of your soft serve on your next visit!

Thirteen buildings' exterior walls in downtown Stevens Point are graced with beautiful murals that highlight historically significant people, locations, and activities of Stevens Point. The University of Wisconsin Stevens Point (UWSP) has a large focus on sustainability and the environment, which is especially present in the 280 -acre conservancy area that is a part of campus. Schmeeckle Reserve has over 5 miles of trails and boardwalks that make for beautiful photos year-round, and the reserve's Lake Joanis is one of the best spots in town for sunsets and sunrises!

 

6. Stevens Point Sculpture Park

One of the only city-owned sculpture parks in the nation calls Stevens Point its home! The Stevens Point Sculpture Park holds beautiful artwork from artists all over the world, with a popular photo-op being on top of the Sand County Bench sculpture. The trail that winds through the Sculpture Park is part of the Green Circle Trail, which has its own gorgeous sites open year-round!

 

7. Sunset Lake Park 

This popular boating, fishing, and swimming spot is known for, you guessed it, its beautiful sunsets! With its 63 acres of lake, there are many spots to find a unique picture that is sure to get lots of likes!

 

8. Standing Rocks County Park 

Standing Rocks County Park has everything an adventurer would need! With downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoe trails, mountain biking, a disc golf course, and dog park, you will be sure to have fun and capture the moment! 

 

9. Central Waters Brewing Company 

Amherst is home to the Central Waters Brewing Company-- a place known for its great beer, use of local ingredients, and renewable energy focus! With a beautiful interior, as well as exterior that often hosts live music, Central Waters is a great place for your next Instagram hit!
