Lake Emily is a 95.5-acre hard water seepage lake located in the Town of Amherst, west of Amherst Junction. The lake is long and narrow, and the bottom drops off quickly with a maximum depth of 36 feet. There is also a large County Park with a campground, beach, and public boat launches, making Lake Emily a popular area for recreation during the summer. Wildlife use is limited by the heavy development. The fishery contains northern pike, walleye, largemouth bass, panfish, and trout.
