UW-Stevens Point Campus Signs

Two major signs welcome visitors and Pointers to the UWSP campus. One is the Berard Gateway, located on the east side of campus near the Chemistry-Biology Building, which is a great location to snap an iconic pic. Another is the UWSP sign nestled on the south side of campus, directly off of Main Street, in front of Old Main.

Old Main

UWSP has been around since 1894, and Old Main carries a rich history that connects past, present, and future Pointers. Pose on the front lawn and grab a wide shot on your camera to capture the well-recognized cupola on top of the building. Old Main is the cornerstone of life at UWSP!

Pointer Dog Sculpture

The Pointer Dog sculpture is an iconic landmark on campus. POINTER was constructed in 2011 by UWSP Carlsten Gallery student, August Kochanowski, in his father's studio (Boleslaw Kochanowski). The 2,500-pound, eight-foot-tall dog now sits in front of the Daniel O. Trainer Natural Resources Building, serving as a unique photo op spot.

Situated on Stevens Point's north side is the iconic Point Sculpture. This sculpture functions as a welcome to the #StevensPointArea and is definitely worth taking a grad pic with.

At the intersection of nature and art sits the Stevens Point Sculpture Park. A short drive from the UWSP campus, this location is perfect for taking group photos with family, friends, and loved ones. Stop by A Sand County Bench by artist Jacob Brault. Then, check out the rest of the park to experience unique, eye-catching works of art.
