With winter still lingering around town, you might find yourself looking for a cozy spot to warm up. Head out and make a stop at the Wooden Chair. Sam explores their menu with this edition of 'Three to Try'.

What to know, before you go

The Wooden Chair is open daily for breakfast and lunch. Don't worry about sleeping in and still wanting breakfast, the whole menu is fair game during their normal hours. Just don't be too late, as they close at 2pm.

Eggs Benedict

The one breakfast choice everyone can fall back on if they are hesitant about what to pick would obviously be eggs benedict. The Wooden Chair puts a twist on their eggs benedict by adding hash browns to the mix. We all know that no breakfast is fully complete without a side of potatoes. Don’t worry if you’re not a huge fan of hash browns, they also serve classic eggs benedict for you.

Brewster

The Wooden Chair has a couple of burger options, but if you’re looking for a bit of a kick, try out the brewster. It is a simple option for a lunch, but nothing settles a craving like bacon on a burger. The brewster has enough flavors on its own, so you won’t experience the feeling that something is missing from this masterpiece.

Grilled Chicken and Craisin Salad

If you’re looking for something a little lighter while out for lunch the grilled chicken and craisin salad is the perfect pick. The salad is packed with craisins, feta cheese, pecans, chicken and red onions. If you’re interested in adding a little extra flavor to the dish, ask your waiter for their homemade ranch or vinaigrette dressing. Some say that salads are not filling, but this salad will leave you feeling more than satisfied.
