You never know what Wisconsin weather will bring, but here's what you can bring to be prepared. You'll walk rain or shine so it'll be helpful to check the forecast beforehand. If rain is predicted, have necessary gear with you, such as rain ponchos and umbrellas. If it's hot and sunny be sure to pack sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, and plenty of water. And of course, lace up your most comfortable tennis shoe or strap on your best sandals as the tour covers about 1 mile.
Plan time before or after the tour to explore downtown. Whether you grab or a cup of coffee or lunch, there are plenty of options available on Monday. Not sure where? Check out Guu's on Main, Graffiti's Sports Pub, Bill's Pizza Shop, Polito's Pizza, Arbuckles Eatery & Pub, The Big Garlic, Ruby Cafe, or Emy J's. Be sure to check specific hours before your visit. Then, pop into local shops! You can do some shopping at Gepetto's Workshop, Companion Shop, Bound to Happen Books, or Fall Line Outfitters.
Find yourself downtown another day? Check out Turquoise on Main, Galaxy Comics, Real Deals, and Diversi-Tea. Always check hours before you shop!
