We've compiled all of the seasonal favorites for fall things to do in the Stevens Point Area, from the best spots for fall color, and where to find family fun! Read on to help craft your perfect Stevens Point Area fall bucket list.

Best Spots for Fall Colors

Nothing says fall quite like the specular colors that dot the skyline this time of year. In the Stevens Point Area there are several key spots to enjoy the views. If you want to take in the view on foot, don't skip the Green Circle Trail with 27 scenic miles to explore. Start with the Riverfront Trail segment for water views mixed with color. To discover more of the trail, don't skip the Schmeeckle Reserve, a perfect location for an autumn adventure. The reserve itself offers more than 5 miles to explore, in addition to serving as the trailhead for the Green Circle Trail. In the reserve don't miss the beautiful boardwalks along the Moses Creek section or the easy hike along Lake Joanis.

For fall color, mixed with art, plan to head to the Stevens Point Sculpture Park. With art from local, regional, and national artists, the Sculpture Park is beautiful in what art it holds, as well as the scenery surrounding it.

Find more spots to stroll through fall colors at the George W. Mead Wildlife Area and Standing Rocks County Park. And, even fido can enjoy the view at the dog park at Standing Rocks Park.

Where to Find Fall Family Fun

Fall is a perfect time to stay active with the kids and head outdoors. Specifically geared for entertaining the kids, KASH Park is great place to burn off some energy. Grab a few sweet apples, or the tasty fall products, from apple butter to caramel apples at Casey's Orchard. Spend the day with wagon rides and pumpkin picking at Arnold's Strawberries (during their Fall Weekend)! Of course, if you are up for a challenge hit the 10-acre corn maze at Feltz's Dairy Store (before a stop inside for ice cream!).

If rainy weather hits the forecast, you don't need to let it slow the family down. Head indoors to the Central Wisconsin Children's Museum to create a masterpiece in the art room, learn about life in a log or sit behind the anchor desk. (Just call ahead, as they are taking reservations!) Or play some indoor mini golf at Putt-n-Play. They have 18 holes of great challenge and fun and also have a glow-in-the-dark room for extra excitement!
