  • Main Street Park- The one and only day where you can transform downtown parking stalls into a temporary public park. Bring chairs, games, and a picnic!

  • Art in the Park- This annual event showcases local art in a fun and entertaining atmosphere at Pfiffner Park. Come for the pottery, stay for the face painting.

  • Holiday Parade- Come to downtown Stevens Point and enjoy all the dazzling lights as you watch the floats, bands, and Santa go down Main Street.

  • Shop Small Saturday- Support local businesses and cross off items on your holiday shopping list by checking out downtown Stevens Point specialty stores. 

On Campus

  • Central Wisconsin Jazz Ensemble with a Tribute to Gil Evans- Come to the first show of the season at Michelsen Hall and listen to an 18-piece professional big band featuring Birth of the Cool, Miles Ahead, and Sketches of Spain.

  • Schmeeckle Fall Candlelight Hike Festival- Walk trails lit by torches and jack-o'-lanterns through the autumn woods and around Lake Joanis. There’s also a campfire program, hands-on discovery stations, free crafts and snacks, and more.

  • Trivia- WWSP 90FM hosts the world’s largest trivia contest which goes for 54 consecutive hours that keeps teams running, searching, and paging for answers to media-oriented questions.

  • Art BASH- Watch student theater and dance performances, view the art sale and silent auction, food and beverage samples from local establishments and a cash bar. Held in the Noel Fine Art Center.

  • Stevens Point Festival of the Arts- One of the finest quality art fairs in the Midwest held at the Noel Fine Arts Center. Browse two floors of 50+ artists' booths, test your luck at the art raffle, and support student art education awards.

  • Schmeeckle Spring Candlelight Hike- Walk half-mile and one-mile loop trails lit by torches. The theme of this spring's event is "Schmeeckle’s Superheroes." Enjoy crafts, snacks, and hands-on discovery stations.
