History | Celebration | Art | Community

The Rose House is in a unique and historic building that was built in 1925. It is most widely known for being the elegant and delightful “Hot Fish Shop” for many years. The upper level which is currently inoperable was once known as the Belmont Hotel. We spent the first half of 2019 working hard to expose the beauty in these walls and give it a flare of our own. Our goal is to provide you with a classy, historic, and artsy “blank canvas” allowing for your events to be just that, yours.

Warm feel for an intimate celebration

The De Roy Room, named after the “Rose De Roy” is ideal any small party of 30 or less. It is a great space for any shower, staff meeting, or small gathering. We gladly provide food and beverage in house or welcome licensed caterers in this space.

This room is included in any full day wedding package, it makes a great space for over flow seating, or photo booth since it is connected to the Rose Hall. A Rehearsal dinner the night before, and space for gift opening the day after the wedding would also work well here. We are happy to share our ideas for how to use it.

Hourly rentals of the De Roy room are available, this is especially convenient for showers and other events. Please be advised that we do not reserve the De Roy room for weekend hourly rentals more than 90 days in advance.

The De Roy Room has it’s own private entrance on the ground floor making it handicap accessible.
A thermostat to control the temperature for both heating and air conditioning.
WiFi with a Television making it easy to share presentations or slide shows.

We love to offer meals for a special breakfast or lunch time meeting in this room.
We also have weekday openings for regularly scheduled club meetings, feel free to get a hold of us to talk more.

A sweet intimate wedding ceremony set up.

Staff, educational, or club meetings work really well in this space.

This room is included with wedding rentals, it’s a great space for getting ready, photo booths, buffet lines, cake, gifts, and so much more!

During the week we want to offer our space to you for study, for group projects, and hanging out! Please stop in and sit, bring your laptop, have a grilled cheese or flatbread, check out or gifts, and just enjoy some space and a latte.
