As an orange barrel in miles of orange barrels our hero always knew he had a real mission. He volunteered for the most dangerous missions knowing full well that he would get damaged protecting workers, machinery and the public from harm. He observed hundreds of thousands of vehicles passing by way to fast in construction zones, so he decided he had to be Orange Barrel Art so he could spread the message to “Slow Down”. After a glorious career of public service, our hero chose Rick Oppermann to tell his story. After many hours of conversation with Rick, they agreed that people fly way too fast through construction zones. To spread the message, they decided an airplane should be constructed from some of our hero’s fallen comrades. Knowing full well that a plane is only as good as its crew, that little courageous barrel became the pilot to command this Orange Barrel Art, appropriately named, “Don’t Fly By”.
