  • Join Jessica Tomaszewski from the Wisconsin Forestry Center to make wreaths out of invasive plants. You will walk away with a fall-decorated wreath and the skills to make your own evergreen holiday wreaths later in the season. We also will discuss how using invasive species to get them off the landscape and treatment (mechanical & herbicide) to control their spread are vital to keeping our forests healthy. Leisure walking to the invasive species site is required. *Note: We will make wreaths out of buckthorn and will make sure that we strip anything that might cause buckthorn to spread.
