To keep Levitt AMP Stevens Point alive during COVID-19, CREATE Portage County is partnering with Thousand Lumens Productions to livestream this year's line-up of music from the @createpoco Facebook page. While caps on outdoor gatherings exist, this option enables us to still make shared time to hit pause on the chaos of our lives, to live outside on blankets and lawn chairs, and to enjoy good music together. Visit createportagecounty.org/levittamp to access our guide to setting up your own mini Levitt Lawns!
About Ani Cordero:“Writing catchy songs of resistance, Puerto Rican singer and multi-instrumentalist Ani Cordero pairs defiance and jubilance!” Well-regarded in the World Music scene, Cordero has captured accolades from NPR's All Things Considered, Alt-Latino, and Soundcheck, as well as Billboard, USA Today, PRI The World, Brooklyn Vegan, and BUST. With songs that feature heavy percussion, sing-along choruses, and strong lyrics, she aims to inspire political resistance and support for social justice.
