The Night Sky of Central Wisconsin

  • The Allen F. Blocher planetarium will host 30-min long night sky presentations every Monday night (January 27 through May 4), starting at 8:00 p.m. These presentations will focus on describing the current night sky from Central Wisconsin. At 8:30 p.m., visitors are invited to go to the Arthur J. Pejsa observatory and enjoy real sky telescopic observations using our 16-inch computer-controlled telescope, weather permitting. Typical targets include: the Moon, planets, stars, stellar clusters, nebulae, galaxies.
