  • Preschoolers and their parents or grandparents can share time together hearing stories about animals and nature during the spring semester at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point’s Museum of Natural History.
    Story Time at the Museum is a free, public program that brings natural history to life through books read by UW-Stevens Point students. Each session also includes an activity or art project related to the story.
    Story Time is held biweekly on Fridays from 10-11 a.m. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
    This semester’s programs and book titles include:
    •         Feb. 2, “The Very Cranky Bear” and “Bear Snores On”
    •         Feb. 16, “Who Will Be My Valentine This Year?” and “You Should! You Should!”
    •         March 2, “I’m a Shark” and “Smiley Shark”
    •         March 16, “Too Tall Houses” and “Little Owl’s Night”
    •         April 6, “Orangutangled” and “Who Took My Banana?”
    •         April 20, “Good Night, Bat! Good Morning, Squirrel!” and “I Am Bat”
    •         May 4, “Who Will Plant a Tree?” and “The Busy Tree”
