This is the third workshop in the Maple Biology and Management Workshop Series. In this workshop, we will learn how to make maple syrup by participating in the process from beginning to end. The workshop will cover how to identify a suitable tree, tricks and tools for drilling and tapping, how to safely store and boil-down sap, and how to “finish-off” and store syrup. After learning how to make syrup, we will be able to sample a variety of unique WI maple syrup products. Attendees will leave with the tools and knowledge needed to make their own maple syrup!
