We are celebrating kids Thursday June 15th at the Levitt AMP Stevens Point Music Series. Wisconsin’s favorite country act, The Pat Watters Band, headlines this free band shell concert with First Avenue opening at 6:00. Chef C's Munchie Mobile and a beverage truck will sell on site.
About the headliner: Blending real life-inspired original songs with their own take on cover tunes from country legends and newcomers alike, the Pat Watters Band has developed a high-energy, audience-driven live show experience unlike any other. 2015 Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) Country Artist of the Year and 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 WAMI People’s Choice Award Winners.
About the Levitt AMP Stevens Point Music Series: The Levitt AMP Stevens Point Music Series is a CREATE Experience supported in part by the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation, a private foundation that empowers towns and cities across America to transform underused public spaces into thriving destinations through the power of free, live music. This project breathes new life into Pfiffner Park—a historically rich green space along the Wisconsin River—with the aim to strengthen the local community by helping to create a thriving city center that welcomes people of all walks of life to experience the cultural scene in the historic neighborhoods surrounding the city’s core. Presented by Create Portage County, a nonprofit that leads community development efforts through continued arts advocacy and creative placemaking.
