Facilitator by The Wisconsin Center for Environmental Education. Buckthorn, honeysuckle, garlic mustard, oh my! Invasive species are an issue all too common in the forests of Wisconsin. Join us as we discuss these big three invaders and so many more. This workshop will focus on the identification and management of invasive species that plague our forests. You will also learn about great opportunities to engage your students in citizen science by partnering with the Wisconsin First Detector Network (WIFDN), which focuses on identifying and mapping invasive species in your local communities, and Wisconsin DNR Forest Health experts.
