Playhouse Theatre Group is a non-profit, volunteer-run group. The earnings from this event will go back to the arts in our community! Several years ago, we began to provide theatre experiences to local children when budget cuts took theatre out of the public school’s curriculum. We work very hard to make sure that all performers who audition are given a part to be on stage. That’s quite a task when you have a cast of 113 kids, ages 9 and up like we did for Annie. That requires lights, sound, scripts, costumes, props, advertising, organization, and lots of volunteers!
Playhouse has donated more than $60,000 to local schools to give students in need musical instruments. We provide scholarships for graduating Seniors and to students who need financial assistance when auditioning for plays and musicals. Funds raised from Dueling Pianos will allow us to continue doing all of these wonderful things!
Our Mission: The Playhouse Theatre Group of Central Wisconsin is a non-profit organization that is committed to offering high-quality performance and educational opportunities for young people within our community...We believe every child deserves a standing ovation.
