  • “A History of the Wittenberg Bethany Indian Mission” by Prof. Betty Bergland of UW-River Falls.
Founded by Norwegian immigrants and supported by the Norwegian Lutheran Church in America, Bethany Indian Mission operated from the 1880s to 1955 and aimed to serve the Indian populations of the state. Betty’s presentation will explore that past and what it may reveal about Indian/immigrant relations. This look into the past promises to be an outstanding program.
