How to Plan a Craft Collective Getaway

Where: McZ's Brew Pub

Day 1

Head to McZ's Brew Pub in Rosholt. You’ll be surprised to find all of the extra's in this space, which shares space with The Nest, an art studio and gallery space. Sample a flight of beers, fresh from the tap that was brewed just steps from the bar, or enjoy some delicious food - including pizza, appetizers, or artisan soups. For more, don't miss a stop at Kozy Yak Brewery & Winery, just across the street.

Find your favorite flavor with McZ's Brew Pubs beer flights.

Evening

Pull up a chair at Matero’s Pub & Pizza nearby. You’ll find delicious pizzas with made-from-scratch crusts, mouth-watering sandwiches and a Friday fish fry of battered or baked Icelandic Haddock.

Day 2

Breakfast

Grab breakfast at The Wooden Chair in Stevens Point. They take pride in their natural, healthier meals and are famous for fluffy omelets, home-baked treats and specialty sandwiches.

Late morning

Before you head home, check out Jordan County Park, or the newer Steinhaugen Recreation Area, between Stevens Point and Rosholt. These are great places to stretch your legs and explore. Don't miss Steinhaugen's 270-acres for a fall hike or snowshoeing in winter.  Keep your eyes peeled for the abundant birds and wildlife that call this area home.

Jordan Park is a great place for fall hiking in the Stevens Point Area.
