Don’t miss the final UW-Stevens Point Performing Arts Series event of the season – author, poet, and filmmaker Sherman Alexie will visit the UWSP campus on Thursday, May 1.
Alexie is the award-winning author of the acclaimed novel The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian and The Lone Ranger and Tonto Fistfight in Heaven, a collection of short stories. He also wrote and co-produced the 1998 film Smoke Signals.
Alexie, a Spokane/Coeur d’Alene Indian, grew up on the Spokane Indian Reservation and now lives in Seattle with his family. Learn more about Alexie here.
