Boom! That’s what happened to my taste buds when I took my first bite of the Asian chicken lettuce wrap from Father Fats Public House. There was an explosion of flavor in each bite. I could tell that it was hand crafted with quality ingredients.

Father Fats is a tapas style restaurant that which means you can order different small plates to share! The Asian Chicken lettuce wrap that Chef Christian made me is perfect to pass around the table, or if you’re in the mood for a salad type dish, it’s perfect as a hearty meal for yourself!
Big flavor with local flair
Inspired flavors from New York, Asia, Deep South, and Spain! They change their menu often to flow with what the season has to offer, which means there is always something new to try! Living in the Stevens Point area where the walking trails are plentiful and Friday Fish Fries are routine, it was refreshing to have a taste of something different and contemporary.
Definitely Instagram worthy
As soon as I entered Father Fats, I felt like I was in a trendy restaurant in a big city. The first thing I noticed was the vibrant colors in the mural on their wall. You will want to show everyone how awesome your food is #yummyinmytummy. You can see the skill and pride that Chef Christian and his team put into the whole dining experience.
Big thanks goes out to Chef Christian and Father Fats for letting me come in! Can't wait to try some tasty food from Father Fats? Me either. I'm looking forward to going back with friends and family.
