    From fine dining to locally grown produce, you’ll find a veritable feast of culinary arts in the Stevens Point area.

    Fans of the traditional Wisconsin supper club will enjoy Michele’s Catering & Restaurant, considered one of the area’s best restaurants for steak and seafood. Other notable restaurants include Father Fats Public House, the Red Mill Supper Club, the Sky Club in Plover and Emy J’s, a coffee shop and café in Stevens Point that’s a great place to grab breakfast.

    If you’re more into making your own meals, there are plenty of places to find fresh ingredients in the Stevens Point area. Start at the Stevens Point Farmers’ Market in historic Matthias Mitchell Square, Wisconsin’s oldest farmers’ market. The market runs every day of the week May through October, and depending on the season, you can find everything from apples to zucchini.

    There are plenty of other places to find fresh ingredients, too, including the Stevens Point Area Cooperative and The Market on Strongs, a producer-owned and -operated indoor farmers market that is open year-round. If you’re looking for specialty foods, try Mullins Cheese in Mosinee or Ski’s Meat Market in Stevens Point.
